Care & styling: Wipe sintered stone and faux marble with a damp microfiber cloth and mild soap; avoid abrasive scouring pads and acidic cleaners.
A great fit if
  • Table legs bump your knees. A pedestal base leaves open legroom.
  • Plain bases look flat. The glossy gold base adds a warm shine.
  • You are curating a dining room and want pieces that feel intentional together.
Maybe look elsewhere if
  • You have very tight room clearance where standard architectural dimensions would restrict open footpaths.

How to style it in your dining room

The details that decide whether it looks considered or just put there. Worth two minutes before you commit to a spot.

  1. Leave at least 36 inches of clearance between the edge of your dining table and any wall or credenza so chairs pull out freely.
  2. Under a dining table, size the rug so all chair legs stay fully on the rug even when pulled out to sit down, usually 24 to 30 inches beyond the tabletop perimeter.
  3. Console tables should sit roughly at hip height, between 30 and 34 inches tall, to anchor entryway wall mirrors and hold key trays.
  4. Pair a round coffee table with an L-shaped sectional to improve traffic flow and eliminate sharp corner collisions.
  5. Keep your coffee table height within 1 to 2 inches of your sofa seat cushions for comfortable drink and book access.
  6. In a home office, orient your desk perpendicular to your main window to avoid harsh monitor screen glare during work hours.
  7. Nightstand height should align within 2 inches of the top of your mattress so reaching for water or a book feels completely natural.
  8. Nest multi-tier tables in compact living rooms to keep floor space open on quiet days and expand surface area when entertaining.

Allow at least 30 to 36 inches of clear perimeter walk space so movement around your seating feels natural and relaxed.

Tables & Desks questions, answered

What are the benefits of sintered stone over real marble?
Sintered stone is manufactured under extreme heat and pressure, making it completely non-porous. It resists scratches, boiling pan heat, and wine stains without ever needing resealing.
How much space do I need around a dining table?
Plan for 36 inches of walking clearance between the tabletop edge and the nearest wall or furniture piece, extending to 42 to 48 inches in main room walkways.
What size rug should go under a coffee table?
In a living room, your rug should be large enough that at least the front legs of all sofas and accent chairs rest on it, extending 12 to 18 inches beyond the coffee table on all sides.
Do these tables require complex assembly?
Most dining and console tables ship with the top slab and base separated for transport safety. Assembly typically involves securing 4 to 8 bolts using the included wrench.
